নির্বাচনী বন্ডের অর্থ প্রদানের প্রবনতা উন্মোচিত হয়েছে

সিপিআই(এম) এর পলিট ব্যুরো দাতা - প্রাপকের পরিচয় সামনে আনার উদ্দেশ্যে নির্বাচনী বন্ডের আলফানিউমেরিক কোড প্রকাশের জন্য ভারতীয় স্টেট ব্যাঙ্ককে দেওয়া সুপ্রিম কোর্টের নির্দেশকে স্বাগত জানায়। এর থেকে এই সত্যটাই বোঝা যায় যে নাগরিকদের জানার স্বার্থে রাজনৈতিক দলগুলির তহবিল আরও স্বচ্ছ করার বিষয়ে সুপ্রিম কোর্টের রায়কে খাটো করার চেষ্টা চলছে।

যেহেতু উপলব্ধ তথ্য নির্বাচন কমিশন গতকাল তার ওয়েবসাইটে আপলোড করেছে, তাই তথ্য বিশ্লেষণ করার চেষ্টা চলছে এবং সম্পূর্ণ প্রভাব বুঝতে কিছুটা সময় লাগতে পারে। এমনকি প্রাথমিক বিশ্লেষণ থেকেও পারস্পরিক সুবিধার আদানপ্রদান এবং বন্ডের মাধ্যমে কর্পোরেটদের কাছ থেকে জোরপূর্বক তহবিল তোলার জন্য ইডি-র মতো সংস্থাগুলিকে ব্যবহার করা উভয়েরই নজির রয়েছে।

সিপিআই(এম) সমস্ত রাজনৈতিক দল, গোষ্ঠী এবং গণতন্ত্রের  ভবিষ্যত বিষয়ে আগ্রহী ব্যক্তিদেরকে নির্বাচনী গণতন্ত্রকে বিপর্যস্ত করার এই ধরনের নির্লজ্জ প্রচেষ্টার প্রতিবাদ ও প্রতিরোধ করার আহ্বান জানায়।

The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) welcomes the further direction of the Supreme Court to the State Bank of India for making the alphanumeric code of electoral bonds available towards disclosure of contributor – recipient identity. This underlines the fact that there are efforts to undermine the verdict of the Supreme Court on making funding to political parties more transparent for citizens. 

Since the available data has been uploaded by the Election Commission on its website yesterday, efforts are on to analyze the data and it may take some time for the full impact to be understood. However, even the preliminary analysis shows instances of both quid pro quo and using agencies like the ED to forcibly extort funds from corporates through bonds.

The CPI(M) urges all political parties, groups and people interested in the future of democracy to protest and resist such brazen attempts at subverting electoral democracy.
