অভিনন্দন

ভারতের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টি (মার্কসবাদী)-র পলিটব্যুরো নিম্নলিখিত বিবৃতিটি জারি করেছে:

প্রশ্নপত্র ফাঁসের কারণে ২২ জন শিক্ষার্থীর দুর্ভাগ্যজনক আত্মহত্যার ঘটনায় জবাবদিহির দাবিতে লড়াই করার জন্য ভারতের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টি (মার্কসবাদী)-র পলিটব্যুরো দেশের ছাত্র ও যুবসমাজকে অভিনন্দন জানাচ্ছে।

দেশের ছাত্র ও যুবসমাজের প্রদর্শিত দৃঢ় সংকল্প ও আত্মত্যাগ এবং সমাজের বিভিন্ন স্তরের মানুষের সমর্থন ছাড়া এই বিজয় কিছুতেই সম্ভব হতো না। কেন্দ্রের সরকারের নির্দেশে প্রশাসনের লাঠিচার্জ এবং অন্যান্য দমনমূলক পদক্ষেপের মুখেও তারা মাথা নত করতে অস্বীকার করেছে। তরুণদের দেখানো এই সাহস ও সংকল্প ভারতীয় গণতন্ত্রের জন্য এক শুভ ইঙ্গিত।

আমরা কেন্দ্রীয় শিক্ষামন্ত্রী ধর্মেন্দ্র প্রধানের পদত্যাগকে স্বাগত জানালেও, এরপর ন্যাশনাল টেস্টিং এজেন্সি (NTA)-কে অবিলম্বে বাতিল করতে হবে, যা বারবার এই প্রশ্নপত্র ফাঁসের জন্য প্রধানত দায়ী। সিপিআই(এম) পরীক্ষা ব্যবস্থার বিকেন্দ্রীকরণের দাবিটি পুনরায় জানাচ্ছে । একইসঙ্গে ২০২০ সালের জাতীয় শিক্ষানীতি, যার মূল ভিত্তি হলো বাণিজ্যিকীকরণ, কেন্দ্রীকরণ এবং সাম্প্রদায়িকীকরণ, তাকেও বাতিল করতে হবে। এই পদক্ষেপগুলো গ্রহণ না করা হলে, প্রশ্নপত্র ফাঁস এবং বঞ্চনার একই ঘটনার পুনরাবৃত্তি চলতে থাকবে। আমরা আশাবাদী যে, ছাত্র ও যুব আন্দোলন তাদের ভবিষ্যতের সঙ্গে সরাসরি যুক্ত এই দাবিগুলো নিয়ে লাগাতার প্রচার ও আন্দোলন চালিয়ে যাবে।

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement:

Congratulations

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) congratulates the students and youth of the country for fighting for accountability over paper leaks that lead to the unfortunate suicides of 22 students.

This victory would not have been possible but for the steadfast resolve displayed and sacrifices made by the student and youth of the country supported by various sections of the people, who refused to relent even in the face of lathis and other repressive measures used by the administration under directions from the Union Government. The courage and determination shown by the youngsters augers well for Indian democracy.

While we welcome the stepping down of the Union Minister for Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, this should be followed by the disbanding of the National Testing Agency that is primarily responsible for the repeated paper leaks. The CPI(M) would like to reiterate its demand for decentralisation of the exams. The National Education Policy, 2020, that has commercialisation, centralisation and communalisation as its core should also be scrapped. Unless these measures are taken, the same saga of paper leaks and deprivations will continue. We are hopeful that students and youth movements will campaign and agitate on these demands that have a bearing on their future.
