পলিট ব্যুরো বিবৃতি ৪ মে, ২০২৬ বিধানসভা নির্বাচনের ফলাফল প্রসঙ্গে বিধানসভা নির্বাচনের ফলাফলের দুটি প্রধান বৈশিষ্ট্য হলো — কেরালামে বাম গণতান্ত্রিক ফ্রন্টের (এলডিএফ) গুরুতর বিপর্যয় এবং পশ্চিমবঙ্গে বিজেপির জয়লাভ। তামিলনাড়ুতে ডিএমকে-নেতৃত্বাধীন জোটও ধাক্কা খেয়েছে, যেখানে বিজয়ের নেতৃত্বাধীন টিভিকে একটি উল্লেখযোগ্য শক্তি হিসেবে আত্মপ্রকাশ করেছে। বিজেপি অসমে তাদের ক্ষমতা ধরে রাখতে সক্ষম হয়েছে এবং এনআর কংগ্রেসের সঙ্গে মিলে পুদুচেরিতেও পুনরায় জয়লাভ করেছে। এলডিএফ কেরলমে টানা দশ বছরের শাসনের পর পরাজিত হয়েছে। এই দশ বছরে বিজেপি-নেতৃত্বাধীন কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের আরোপিত আর্থিক সংকটের মধ্যেও দলটি জনগণের কল্যাণে এবং তাদের আকাঙ্ক্ষা পূরণে সর্বোচ্চ প্রচেষ্টা চালিয়েছে। পশ্চিমবঙ্গে বিজেপি বেশ কয়েকটি কারণে সুবিধাজনক অবস্থানে ছিল — দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত তৃণমূল সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে তীব্র ক্ষোভ, বিজেপির সাম্প্রদায়িক, বিভেদমূলক ও বিষাক্ত ঘৃণার প্রচারণা, বিপুল অর্থব্যয়, এবং নির্বাচন কমিশন-সহ কেন্দ্রীয় সংস্থাগুলির অপব্যবহার তথা এসআইআর প্রক্রিয়া — এই সবকিছুই তাদের জয়ে ভূমিকা রেখেছে। এত মেরুকৃত পরিস্থিতিতেও বামপন্থীরা সামান্য হলেও তাদের ফলাফলের উন্নতি ঘটাতে সক্ষম হয়েছে। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ, অসম ও পুদুচেরির ফলাফল বিজেপি-নেতৃত্বাধীন দক্ষিণপন্থী সাম্প্রদায়িক শক্তির ক্রমবর্ধমান প্রাধান্যের ইঙ্গিত দেয়, যা সমস্ত ধর্মনিরপেক্ষ, প্রগতিশীল ও গণতান্ত্রিক শক্তির জন্য গভীর উদ্বেগের বিষয়। সিপিআই(এম) সেই সমস্ত জনগণ ও কর্মীদের ধন্যবাদ জানাচ্ছে যারা পার্টি ও তার মিত্রদের উপর আস্থা রেখে ভোট দিয়েছেন। সিপিআই(এম) জনগণের রায়কে সম্মান জানাচ্ছে এবং কেরলমে এলডিএফের পরাজয়ের কারণগুলি নিয়েও পার্টি আত্মসমীক্ষা করবে। আমরা আশ্বাস দিচ্ছি যে সমস্ত প্রয়োজনীয় সংশোধনমূলক পদক্ষেপ পার্টি গ্রহণ করবে এবং জনগণের অধিকার রক্ষায় তথা ধর্মনিরপেক্ষতা ও গণতন্ত্রের সপক্ষে সংগ্রাম অব্যাহত রাখবে। নির্বাচনের ফলাফল থেকে উদ্ভূত নতুন রাজনৈতিক পরিস্থিতির চ্যালেঞ্জ মোকাবিলায় পলিটব্যুরো ও কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির আসন্ন বৈঠকে একটি সামগ্রিক বিশ্লেষণ করা হবে এবং আগামী কর্মপন্থা নির্ধারণ করা হবে। The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement: On the Assembly Election Results The two major features of the assembly election results are the serious setback to the Left Democratic Front (LDF) in Keralam and the victory of the BJP in West Bengal. The DMK-led alliance also suffered a setback in Tamil Nadu, where the TVK led by Vijay emerged as a major force. The BJP was able to retain Assam and along with the NR Congress, once again won in Puducherry. The LDF was defeated in Keralam after ten years of continuous rule, during which it had done its best for the welfare of the people and to meet their aspirations, given the financial constraints imposed by the BJP-led Union government. In West Bengal, the BJP benefited from several factors, including the strong anti-incumbency against the corrupt TMC government. Its communal, divisive and vitriolic hate campaign, the huge amounts of money they spent, and the misuse of Central agencies including the Election Commission of India (ECI), the SIR exercise, have all contributed to their victory. Even in such a polarised situation, the Left could marginally improve its performance. In West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry, the results show the ascendancy of right-wing communal forces led by the BJP, which is a matter of deep concern for all the secular, progressive and democratic forces. The CPI(M) thanks the people and cadres who have reposed their faith in the Party and its allies and voted for it. The CPI(M) respects the people’s verdict and will introspect on the reasons that led to the defeat of the LDF in Keralam. We assure that the Party will take all necessary corrective measures and continue to struggle for the rights of the people and in defence of secularism and democracy.
